PostDay One-Step® – Morning After Pill & Emergency Contraceptive
Levonorgestrel Tablet, 1.5 mg. Fast, effective pregnancy prevention — without a prescription.

PostDay One-Step® is an emergency contraceptive designed to help reduce the chance of pregnancy after unprotected sex or birth control failure. When taken as soon as possible within 72 hours (3 days), it works by temporarily delaying ovulation so fertilization cannot occur.

PostDay One-Step® is not the abortion pill. It will not affect an existing pregnancy and will not affect your ability to get pregnant in the future.

Why Choose PostDay One-Step®?

  • Proven Pregnancy Prevention – About 7 out of 8 women who would have gotten pregnant will not become pregnant when taken as directed.
  • Single-Dose Simplicity – One tablet, one dose, 1 count per package.
  • No Prescription Needed – Available over-the-counter, no ID required or age restriction.
  • Not the Abortion Pill – Will not terminate an existing pregnancy.
  • Future Fertility Friendly – No long-term impact on your ability to conceive.

When to Use This Emergency Contraceptive
PostDay One-Step® is your backup plan for:

  • Unprotected sex (no birth control used)
  • Birth control failure (condom broke, slipped, or leaked)
  • Missed birth control pills or late contraceptive dose

How It Works

  • Contains 1.5 mg of levonorgestrel, a hormone also used in many daily birth control pills, at a higher single dose.
  • Temporarily delays the release of an egg from the ovary to help prevent fertilization and pregnancy.

Possible Side Effects
Some users may experience:

  • Changes in menstrual cycle (early, late, lighter, or heavier period)
  • Nausea
  • Lower abdominal (stomach) pain
  • Tiredness, dizziness, or headache
  • Breast tenderness

If you vomit within 2 hours of taking the tablet, contact a healthcare provider to find out if you should repeat the dose. If your period is more than a week late, take a pregnancy test and follow up with your healthcare provider. Severe abdominal pain should receive immediate medical attention, as it may signal an ectopic pregnancy.

Not for use as regular birth control. Does not protect against HIV or other STDs.
